Instagram Face Filter

Augmented reality face filters have become very popular on Instagram. Users can track their faces and find the answers to questions like, “What Disney Character are you?” or “Which Mario Kart track are you?” When I noticed how popular these filters were, I began to think about which brands could get involved.

Working on a small team, we decided Panera should have one of these viral filters. After a little research, I was able to use Instagram's AR program to create Panera's own personal face filter. This filter randomly assigns a type of Panera bread to the user.

With less than a day to jump on this trend, I programed the filter and Panera’s fans have now used and shared it thousands of times.
